1. What do you enjoy most about playing your character?
She is very similar to my real personality. If she doesn't like something she will say it immediately.
She is a poetic person and she is the matriarch of the group. She also enjoys making fun of
people.
2. What is your characters worst habit/feature?
If there were something wrong with her, Mohammed would change the script. He is very protec
tive of her character.
3. What is your character's best habit/feature?
She is a very wise old lady and gives good advice to her friends. The group really looks up to her.
4. Which of the other characters do you like best?
I like Um Saloom because she is so forgetful and sleepy. I also like Um Jameel because he
makes me laugh and is a stingy person.
5. Which is your favorite FREEJ episode, and why?
The trip from Season 1 because of the fantasy and its location is out of the house.
6. Have you been recognized by anyone as the voice of your character?
I didn't tell my parents and friends and on the first day of Ramadan however, when the show
commenced they recognized my voice as Um Saeed.
7. What do you think of Mohammed's vision for FREEJ?
It's expanding and it's becoming very popular. This is just the beginning. We have had a great
start but its going to be much harder to maintain our success once we get there.
8. What would you like to see your character do?
would love to see what she looked like in her youth. I think her life story would be very fascinating.
